Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough penetration testing on web and mobile applications to identify security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Analyse application architecture, code, and configurations to uncover potential threats.
  • Perform both manual and automated security testing, including exploiting vulnerabilities to determine risk levels.
  • Collaborate with development teams to convey findings and recommend security controls or improvements.
  • Create detailed penetration testing reports, highlighting identified vulnerabilities, their impacts, and suggesting remediations.
  • Assist in the creation of security best practices and guidelines for developers to follow during the software development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the penetration testing process.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and application security.
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and common application vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, or similar.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certification OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) is not mandatory but it will be a plus point
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
